My name is Ntobeko Aphelele Shabangu. I was born and raised in Durban, South Africa. I have had formal education in production design from AFDA even earning a cum laude in the process. My set of skills I have acquired are  Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, Unreal Engine, Budgeting, Project management and Carpentry, Painting, Electrical, Drafting.

My approach to design is one that is heavily inspired by fine and classical art of the past. I draw on its principles of balance, proportion, and symbolism to create spaces and visuals that feel timeless yet purposeful. By grounding my work in these traditions, I aim to bring a sense of depth and refinement to contemporary production design, ensuring that every choice resonates beyond surface aesthetics. This fusion of history and modernity allows me to craft environments that are both visually striking and emotionally engaging.
