The Ascension a ceremony of the coronation of The Matriarch in a tribe. Rawona is chosen to become The Matriarch instead of her sister Thalitha. The close bond between the sister's is tested when doubt is planted in Thalitha's head whether her sister really worthy of the head position of their tribe while Rawona fights her own insecurities to prove herself above her sister.
